Óscar Herrero

Óscar Herrero is a BuiltTech specialist architect working in complex modelling and parametric control of large projects.

After graduating in Architecture from IE University in 2015, Herrero joined the Spanish firm Modelical, where he has developed significant projects, such as the Nativity facade modelling of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, or the advisory of New Santiago Bernabéu Stadium facade. Since he first entered Modelical as an intern, during his degree, Herrero was involved in parametric modelling, especially with Grasshopper and Rhinoceros, and in scripting; both, computer concerns related to virtual reality, where modelling and scripting mix in a new way to understand architecture.

Before joining Modelical as an architect, Herrero also interned at AL_A, a London-based architecture studio founded by the RIBA Stirling Prize-winning architect Amanda Levete.
