Pablo del Saz-Orozco Huang
Pablo is a PhD focused in the industrial applications of machine learning techniques with data science related skills. He has professional experience using machine learning techniques to find useful insights in data and presenting them in public and also presents extensive experience in the education sector both as a teacher and as a researcher.
Pablo’s academic background includes a BS in Industrial Engineering and in Automation and Industrial Electronics and a PhD in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Málaga (Spain). He also holds a Master’s degree in the Electric Power Industry from the Pontifical University of Comillas, Madrid (Spain).
He has been a researcher at the University of Málaga and at FMTC (currently Flanders Make) where he participated in several research projects. He is author of 10 publications in peer-review journals, 6 book chapters and speaker at numerous international conferences. He also has teaching experience at University level in four different universities.
He also has professional experience as a senior data scientist in multinational companies in the energy and airline industries.
