Siyun Jiang

Siyun Jiang is an Assistant Professor at IE University's School of Politics, Economics, and Global Affairs. She earned her Ph.D. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2023. She is broadly interested in comparative political economy and judicial politics in authoritarian regimes. Her current researches focus on legal institutions, judicial behaviors, and legitimacy building in East Asia. Her research has received generous support from the Texas Politics Project, the Ward Fellowship, and the Robert Strauss Center for International Security and Law.
