Zilan Yang

Zilan Yang holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research interest lies at the intersection of Accounting and Economics, covering questions in auditing, corporate innovation, and ESG. She currently focuses on studying the role of ancestral narratives in shaping various corporate decisions by leveraging novel datasets from Sociology and Economics. She teaches Financial Accounting at IE University. During graduate studies, she also served as teaching assistant in Managerial Accounting.
