    SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS DURING THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS

    Offering equitable and inclusive learning opportunities to students is our priority at IE University.

    We believe that helping students thrive and embracing diversity includes properly supporting the individual needs of each student. 

    To meet this goal, IE University offers a variety of accommodations for students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) both in the application process and for the duration of their studies.

    To ensure that accommodations are considered during the admissions process, please upload your supporting documentation to the documents section of your Online Application or send them directly to your Admissions Advisor via email.

    IE University maintains strict confidentially. Only documentation that demonstrates the existence of a special educational need by means of standardized diagnostic tests that are recognized internationally and are carried out by a certified professional will be accepted.

    The documents must be originals or certified copies, accompanied by a sworn translation into English or Spanish if they are written in any other language.

    ADMISSION TEST

    IE University’s Admissions Test is conducted solely in English and assesses your verbal, logical and numerical skills. This rigorous exam is a flexible alternative to other standardized tests such as SAT or LNAT.

    KIRA ASSESSMENT

    This assessment allows the admissions team to get a sense of your personality and potential before proceeding to a possible interview.

    PERSONAL INTERVIEW

    The interview will allow us to get to know you better, and further assess certain qualities, such as your personality, capacity for critical thinking, method of self expression and other communication skills.

    FINAL COMMITTEE DECISION

    The Admissions Committee is made up of university staff members who will jointly assess your suitability as a candidate. You will be informed of the Admissions Committee’s decision in writing.
