IE University Entry Requirements

IE University welcomes applicants with high academic standards from all over the world. Over 80% of our students are international and represent more than 140 different countries. Our students speak three languages on average, and come from more than 60 different educational systems. This diversity enriches our students’ experience and fosters reflection, debate and the exchange of ideas.

While academic excellence is crucial, we also highly value your cultural background, international exposure and extracurricular activities, among other criteria. We take a holistic approach to evaluating applications, and our goal is to find the most talented and interesting applicants. Our review process identifies and recognizes creativity as well as a wide range of competencies, some of which are not always reflected in traditional assessment processes, such as critical-thinking skills.
