Final Committee Decision

Once you have completed the Admissions Process, your case will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. This entity is made up of university staff members who will jointly assess your suitability as a candidate. ​

You will be informed of the Admissions Committee’s decision in writing. If you’re accepted, you’ll receive one of two admission statuses: ​

• Conditional admission: your admission is subject to certain conditions determined by the Admissions Committee. You are required to complete your high school studies and obtain a minimum grade which meets IE University’s entry requirements. Once you finish your high school studies, you will have to send your final grades to the Admissions Committee and, if you’ve met the requirements of your conditional admission offer, you’ll be granted definitive admission. ​
• Definitive admission: your application meets IE University entry requirements, and your admission offer is definitive, subject to the successful completion of your high school studies (if you are still completing your secondary education). In this case, you will still have to send your final grades to the Admissions Committee, once you have them, to confirm your admission status.

Other admissions decisions might be: ​

• New revision: your application will be revised upon submission of additional documentation. Usually referring to the partial grades of their high school current year.  ​
• No profile: your profile is not a right fit for the selected program, but you may still be considered for another program within IE University. ​
• No admission: your candidacy did not pass the selection process at IE University. This decision applies to all IE University’s degrees and campuses.
