IE Insights Launches “50 Ideas to Shape the Future” Featuring Experts from Around the World
The editorial special is part of IE University’s The Next 50 initiative.
IE Insights, the thought-leadership publication of IE University, has launched a new editorial special called "50 Ideas to Shape the Future." The special is part of IE University's commitment its The Next 50 initiative, and is designed to inspire readers to think about the possibilities of the future and how they can contribute to a better world.
Over the coming weeks, IE Insights will publish articles from 50 thought leaders from around the world and each article provides unique insights into the future trends, innovative technologies, and emerging opportunities in the authors' respective fields. The collection will divided into four sections: Society, Power, Education, and Creativity and will offer a glimpse into the future of a wide range of industries and topics, including AI and technology, business and finance, law, entrepreneurship, the arts and humanities, design and architecture, and the environment and sustainability.
“IE Insights consistently delivers editorial content that challenges the status quo and explores new ideas, and ‘50 Ideas to Shape the Future’ will no doubt stimulate dialogue and inspire critical thinking about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for all of us,” said Diego del Alcázar Benjumea, CEO of IE University.

The first cohort of “50 Ideas to Shape the Future” contributors includes electronic music producer Jack Adams (Mumdance), author and journalist Pallavi Aiyar, executive coach Patrice Gordon, The Economist columnist Lane Greene, Financial Times columnist Simon Kuper, Hay Festival Foundation Chair Caroline Michel, and Ganas Ventures Latina GP Lolita Taub, as well as thought leaders from across IE University including the institution’s founder, Diego del Alcázar Silvela.
As part of The Next 50 initiative, and in addition to “50 Ideas to Shape the Future,” IE University's major annual events in 2023, graduation ceremonies, new editions of South Summit, Hay Festival, and Reinventing Higher Education will also take a view into the future. Research will play a prominent role, for example a new forward-looking study from The Center for the Governance of Change at IE University that will be released at The Next 50 closing event at IE Tower at the end of 2023.
