IE University students will have the opportunity to network with experts and leading companies on sustainable initiatives.

The challenges of protecting our planet, the importance of sustainability in the field of health and how it improves longevity, along with the role of volunteering to make social, economic and environmental impacts, are just some of the topics to be discussed during IE University's Sustainability Week 2024, which will see debates, workshops and impact initiatives starting today until October 10.

IE University Bachelor and Masters students from 160 countries will have the opportunity to network with experts and leading companies on sustainable initiatives, as well as discussing the key role of sustainability in workshops, round tables, conferences and cultural visits.

IE University's Sustainability Office will promote networking and employability. To that end, the Talent & Careers  team will organize a Careers Fair to connect the institution's students and graduates with international recruiters.

In addition, as part of Sustainability Week 2024, experts in the field of health and well-being will explore the links between longevity and sustainability, while experts from the tourism sector will discuss the main trends in sustainable travel. In addition, students will actively participate in a dialogue with spokespersons from international organizations on the main issues discussed at the COP, the United Nations Climate Change Conference.

Throughout the week, IE University students will visit the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, learn about volunteer opportunities at the Volunteerism Fair and participate in workshops to promote responsible consumption.

"Sustainability Week is an opportunity to connect with leaders in sustainable change and understand the importance of sustainability, a key value in our institution. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do."
Nicole Rosow, Director of the Sustainability Office at IE University
