IE University announces the renewal and enhancement of the ambitious scholarship agreement with the China Scholarship Council (CSC), thanks to which more than 100 academically successful Chinese students will be selected over a period of three years to complete their studies at IE University in an extraordinarily diverse and international environment in Madrid, almost double that of the previous agreement.

In addition, they broadened the range of programs offered and will consider up to 18 Chinese nationals to partake in the Master of Laws (LL.M.) and up to 18 for the Master in Applied Economics. This last program features three specialized elective track, the IE-CSC scholarship only covers the Economics for Public Policy track.

Students in these four master´s programs need to be ready to take on today's global and legal challenges from various perspectives.

“Thanks to this agreement, up to 36 Chinese citizens will get the opportunity to come to IE every year to complete their graduate studies in International Relations, Development, Law and Economics. This is not only an enormous opportunity for each of them individually but also a testament to the ability of academic endeavors to build bridges across borders and cultures,” said Manuel Muniz, Dean of IE’s School of Global and Public Affairs.

“We are delighted to welcome these CSC Scholars to Spain and to Europe and wish them great academic success. Ultimately, we hope that they leave IE and help address global challenges such as climate change, the governance of global health or providing economic opportunity and equitable growth.”
