IE University professor Fernando Moral will present his book “Oteiza. Arquitectura desocupada. De Orio a Montevideo/ Oteiza. Disoccupied Architecture. From Orio to Montevideo”, a bilingual edition in which he analyses Oteiza’s work using unpublished documents on April 11th at 7 p.m at IE Business School (Serrano 105).

In the presentation, some of the participants include the autor Fernando Moral, the Uruguayan ambassador to Spain, Carlos Pita, Associate Dean of IE School of Architecture and Executive Director of the Pritzker Prize Martha Thorne, the director of the Fundación-Museo Jorge Oteiza, Gregorio Díez and the Rector of IE University Juan Luis Martínez.

Born in León, Fernando Moral is one of the architects who have studied more in depth the art of Jorge Oteiza, considered one of the pioneers of abstract sculpture in Spain and whose work and theories on space are essential to understand the History of Art of the 20th century.
