Eighty percent of new students in Bachelor's programs are from outside Spain, and 55% are women. By country, the largest number of international students this year came from the United States, France, Italy and Germany.

"The teaching and research faculty is our greatest asset, as well as the talent and diversity of our students, who come from 140 countries."

"In today's geopolitical and regulatory environment, training in business, technology, scientific and environmental disciplines is becoming increasingly important to respond to the challenges of society, from an innovative and humanistic perspective," adds Carmona.

Applied Mathematics and Sustainability

The new Bachelor in Applied Mathematics offers students a deep understanding of the application of mathematics to solve challenges in a wide range of fields such as economics, finance, operations, automation and the energy sector, among many others.

The Bachelor in Environmental Sciences for Sustainability combines a solid scientific foundation, analysis of the current socio-political and regulatory environment and mastery of technological tools, as well as the development of skills to design and implement sustainable environmental proposals.

The Master’s in Architecture, taught in Madrid and Amsterdam, qualifies students to practice as architects in Spain and the European Union, reinforces their business and entrepreneurial vision, and explores the use of sustainable strategies in architecture and design.

The new Executive Master’s in International Development at IE School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs has a faculty made up of experts from IE University, the United Nations and various international organizations. This program is aimed at professionals who want to promote sustainable social, economic and environmental development throughout their managerial career, in line with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
