Lexy startup wins IE Venture Day Madrid December 2024
A jury of entrepreneurship experts and international investors evaluated the finalist startups and announced the awards at an event held at IE Tower.
Lexy, an AI-powered platform that aims to revolutionize the diagnosis of dyslexia and support people with this learning difficulty, has won IE Venture Day Madrid December 2024, the IE University competition that recognizes the best startups developed by its entrepreneurial students and graduates.
The runner-up was BalanceHer, a plant-based supplement for women with endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome and hormonal imbalances. Third prize went to Tuluk, a fashion aggregator that aims to revolutionize online shopping.
The Sustainability Award went to TribeGrown, a social startup committed to empowering India's tribal farmers by promoting sustainable and regenerative farming practices.
IE University’s Venture Days reflect its entrepreneurial and innovative commitment, connecting students and alumni with successful entrepreneurs and international investors. This edition of Venture Day Madrid culminates the work of the IE Venture Lab this semester. Of the more than 100 teams that presented their startup projects in this demanding competition, only 10 made it to the finals.

IE Business School was recently recognized as the 4th business school in the world in the annual Poets & Quants ranking that analyzes the best MBAs for entrepreneurs. This recognition is in addition to the PitchBook MBA Ranking 2024 published a few weeks ago, considered one of the world's leading rankings for entrepreneurs, in which IE Business School ranks third in Europe, with 256 founders and 224 companies launched by MBA graduates that have raised 5,700 million dollars in funding.
