WHY STUDY BEHAVIOR AND SOCIAL SCIENCES?
- 01.
BECOME A HUMAN BEHAVIOR EXPERT
The Bachelor in Behavior and Social Sciences program enables you to apply a range of lenses to human behavior, drawing on a variety of disciplines including psychology, sociology and economics. You’ll learn how to analyze, contextualize and influence human behavior, giving you the skills you need to pursue a career in the field of your choice, whether with a consultancy, a non-governmental organization (NGO), a large corporation, or other sectors. With this degree, you’ll be well-equipped to understand and influence human behavior in multiple contexts, making you a valuable asset in any organization.
- 02.
DRIVE POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE WORLD AND MAKE YOUR MARK ON SOCIETY
The world is facing huge crises caused by human behavior, including global warming, armed conflict and social unrest. However, the problem is that many solutions do not account for how human beings behave. We need to understand the underlying causes of these issues and develop strategies to mitigate their effects. Using a hands-on approach to education, this program will help you develop the theoretical framework and practical skills needed to explore, gather and analyze information related to human behavior. You’ll discover how you can play a central role in decision-making processes, providing insights to improve future corporate and organizational strategies, and ultimately make a positive impact on the world.
- 03.
BUILD A MULTIDISCIPLINARY PROFILE
Human problems have different characteristics, so we need different perspectives to propose and create impactful solutions, and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the behavior of individuals and groups. The Bachelor in Behavior and Social Sciences draws from a variety of disciplines—not only psychology, sociology, economics, anthropology, political science and marketing, but also newer, cutting-edge disciplines including behavior design, design thinking for innovation and leading change in organizations—to give you a holistic understanding of the complexities of human behavior and how it is shaped by the environment.
- 04.
GAIN A SOLID ANALYTICAL FOUNDATION
Analytical skills are in high demand across roles and industries. In this program, you’ll undertake both qualitative and quantitative analysis research, which you’ll be able to apply to a variety of contexts, such as politics, communication, health and societal development. In the first two years, you’ll gain a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of social science theory and its analytical tools, including observation, experimentation and statistics. Then you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of behavioral science and professional skills, applying these skills in projects and internships. In the final year, you’ll undertake a project in which you’ll demonstrate your skills by designing and conducting high-quality empirical research with a Professor.

BACHELOR IN BEHAVIOR AND SOCIAL SCIENCES PILLARS
EXPLORE OUR APPLIED & MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH
This multidisciplinary program uses a diverse, yet deeply interconnected, set of social science disciplines to give you a holistic view of human behavior. You will learn how to use distinct perspectives to understand our complex realities better. Thanks to our dynamic, applied approach to education, you will have the opportunity to ground theory in practice and engage with the real world.
USE INNOVATIVE TOOLS
This program will introduce you to innovative quantitative, qualitative and technological tools, demonstrating how they may be used to perform precise analyses. You’ll learn to unlock the secrets of human behavior through the skillful application of data analytics, using Excel, R Studio, data visualization tools and Miro. These innovative tools will help you understand how people interact with products and services, and leverage that understanding to design them to be more user-friendly and efficient. You’ll also explore how people respond to incentives and how to design incentives that are more likely to be successful.
BECOME A COLLABORATIVE LEADER
This program will give you the skills needed to influence people, encourage and drive behavior change, and collaborate and lead teams. You’ll gain experience of leading in small groups and understand the difference between a transactional and a transformational leadership style. First, you’ll build your understanding through academic theory: how to collaborate effectively through understanding how to influence and appreciate others’ motivations and goals through empathy. Second, you’ll then demonstrate your ability to operate effectively in teams. Finally, this program will provide you with opportunities to drive and encourage behavior change and demonstrate leadership.
PERSONALIZE YOUR STUDIES
You can choose between two tracks: 1. Experience Design (Behavioral Science, Marketing, Behavior Change and User Experience). 2. Talent Development (HR, Talent, Coaching, Recruitment). These tracks prepare you to have a successful career in these areas.
Experience Design has a heavy focus on quantitative analysis and is applied in the context of behavioral science, marketing and user experience to address the growing need for professionals who understand how customers experience products and services.
Professionals with a deep understanding of people’s motivations and goals, and aligning those to organizations’ strategy and operations, are in high demand. Talent Development takes a multidisciplinary approach to human problems and finding effective solutions at an organizational level in talent, HR and recruitment, and at a micro-level through coaching.
