Throughout your studies, you can make several decisions to define your own journey. At the beginning of the program, you can join seminars to explore other academic areas and work in labs to gain internship-like experience in different sectors. You will also be able to go on exchange, opening doors to a wealth of international experiences. Some of our top partner universities to do an exchange are the following: Sciences Po, Bocconi, Bologna, Tilburg, St Gallen, Warwick, Sheffield, Tec Monterrey, Cornell, Northeastern, U. Georgia, U. Miami and U. Texas Austin.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to select a language to learn from Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic, or Chinese, enriching your cultural and linguistic repertoire along the way.

In your fourth year, you can choose from a range of electives that make up one of the four optional concentrations offered, entitling you to an additional diploma.

    Holding them as one of its values, IE University understands the Humanities are key to understanding the reality of our world, and applying critical thinking skills to complex, global challenges. Students can select which Humanities course to complete, based on their interests.

The refugee-camp simulation offers students insights into the human and professional aspects it takes to aid people whose countries are going through times of crisis.

    International Relations and Economics students participate in the "Unplugged" project, where they work in groups over 21 days to reduce CO2 emissions. First-year students can earn special awards for top performance. IE UNIVERSITY TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY TO NEPAL

During their second year, students in the International Relations program have the option to participate in the Transformational Leadership Journey. This trip offers a unique opportunity for students to enrich their learning through travel experiences in various locations, including Nepal.

Participants engage in a series of challenges, both physical and mental, set amidst stunning natural landscapes. Guided by inspiring mentors, students work collaboratively, fostering teamwork skills and personal growth.

The journey is meticulously crafted to push boundaries, broaden perspectives, and stimulate critical thinking. Over the course of two weeks, participants step out of their comfort zones, embarking on a transformative journey that leaves them with new insights into themselves, their peers, and the global community.
