THE BACHELOR IN PHILOSOPHY, POLITICS, LAW AND ECONOMICS
The Bachelor in Philosophy, Politics, Law and Economics (PPLE) at IE University is a multidisciplinary and flexible program that allows you to obtain a deeper understanding of the elements that influence human thought and action, and its interrelation with current global frameworks. By exploring knowledge and experience from different disciplines, you will be able to face global challenges and propose innovative and cutting-edge solutions to tackle current social, political, economic and legal challenges. Drawing from a century-old academic tradition and outstanding political, business and cultural leaders; throughout the four-year study plan, you will acquire the necessary research and analytical skills to navigate the four pillars of the program.
The systems that shape this global world are influenced by many factors. Examining reality through different lenses is crucial in order to better understand the elements that really impact this world. The leaders of the future will need to possess a deep, philosophical understanding of the political, legal and economic dynamics that define our societies and organizations. But even more importantly, they must understand how these four disciplines together can enable them to remain at the forefront of global change. We provide these leaders of the future with the most comprehensive education in all four disciplines, teaching them to explore economic principles, analyze the impact of politics on society and understand the legal sector. Drawing from philosophy, they will be able to analyze and take on the most complex problems of today, developing a comprehensive and multidimensional understanding and crafting broad, innovative solutions.
The PPLE program is fully compliant with the Bologna Process and is accredited by the Spanish Government and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
