A UNIQUE Dual Degree in Business Administration & Humanities
The study plan for the Dual Degree in Business Administration & Humanities is designed to provide you with a comprehensive and balanced curriculum that integrates courses from both the humanities and business administration in a fully complementary way. The curriculum has been designed so you’ll be able to see how all the content is inter-related, and benefit from the incessant dialogue between disciplines. The plan ensures that you acquire a strong foundation in both disciplines, while also allowing for specialization in the areas that most interest you.
Throughout the five years, you’ll be encouraged to participate in experiential learning opportunities, such as study-abroad programs, cultural immersion experiences, industry projects and networking events, to enhance your understanding and practical application of the concepts learned.

FIRST YEAR (SEGOVIA)
During your first year in Segovia you’ll learn the foundations of your future education, from management principles to the foundations of social theory. You will gain a perspective on human history as you develop your financial and IT skills, unlocking many of the keys to human development and future challenges.
SECOND YEAR (SEGOVIA)
Your second year is devoted to making you aware of your own capacities for leadership, and how to defend them better. You will begin to see the bigger picture as you realize the keys to success in decision making and problem solving. The training of the most incredible machine that exists—your brain—will be boosted during the second year, leaving you ready to engage fully in your future management studies.
THIRD YEAR (MADRID)
In the third year, you start the path to becoming a future leader. A move to the Madrid campus will bring you exposure to top international organizations, as well as world-renowned arts and cultural institutions. Equipped with all the humanities skills that will make a difference, you will launch into applying your previous training to management and research skills, and you will realize the great difference this combination makes as you come to look at challenges through new eyes.
FOURTH YEAR (ABROAD + MADRID)
In your fourth year, you’ll have a great degree of flexibility in designing your curriculum. Being able to choose the electives that most interest you allows you to develop bespoke specializations which might not be available elsewhere. As an international institution, IE University also encourages students to participate in exchanges, as opportunities to experience different cultures and learn from the best in their fields at other universities.
FIFTH YEAR (MADRID)
As a culmination of all your studies in the preceding four years, the fifth year is a time to reflect on everything that you’ve lived and learned. After four years of studying business administration and humanities, you will be able to find innovative and groundbreaking answers to the most common management challenges in a globalized world.

The partnership between IE University and UNESCO strives to establish a unique and enriching learning environment for students, where they can benefit from UNESCO's vast knowledge and expertise.
